The heliport space on the roof of Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital is designed to accommodate all sorts of air ambulance helicopters landing and taking off. With the TUV Hessen Green Building accreditation, Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital, which was developed as a smart hospital, was named the country's first "Green Hospital Building."

The hospital contains a total of 209 patient beds, 51 intensive care beds, 11 operation rooms with laminar airflow, and two birthing rooms. All of the operating rooms may be audiovisually linked to the 300-person conference hall and international points, allowing for interactive medical teaching and research activity.

The Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital was established in a triangle of "medical staff, technological equipment, and technical infrastructure" to meet the health-care needs of not only Istanbul and Turkey, but also the international arena, particularly the Middle East, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and surrounding countries.

The Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul has introduced several health-care improvements. Physicians may create visual and audio connections with physicians from anywhere in the globe in the report room, where radiology results are examined, and exchange perspectives by analyzing patient reports. Patients will receive a second opinion as well as a preliminary opinion from our physicians if they come to our country from abroad.

JCI certified Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital on August 22, 2013. Since their accreditation, the hospitals have been re-inspected by JCI every three years, and their JCI accreditation certificate has been renewed.
