Dr. Eun-Seok Shin is an Interventional Cardiologist and medical Director, cardiocerebrovascular center at Ulsan Medical Center. Trained as a cardiologist in Seoul (Asan Medical Center and Sejong General hospital), Dr Shin completed her Ph.D at Andong National University whilst progressing to Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Coronary Intervention Associate Professor at the Ulsan University College of Medicine. Dr Shin’s extensive research into Drug-eluting stents have been published internationally in journals such as Circulation, JACC and Eurointervention. With a particular interest in intravascular imaging, Dr Shin developed a methodology to virtually measure histology in coronary vessels known as Shin’s method.
