He worked as an Associate professor of Cardiology, and director of the intravascular imaging and physiological core lab, Intervention cardiology unit at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was a Cardiologist- Clinical research scientist/ Cardiovascular Imaging Consultant at Yale New Haven Hospital. Currently, he is a Cardiologist, Director of the vascular and Intravascular Cardiac Imaging Core Lab at Brigham and Women's Hospital/ Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts.
