Another Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Training session had been organized by ADNCoE

TAVI procedure is relatively new to many medical professionals, which makes it challenging to fully understand the risks of the procedure. For this reason, ADN CoE company decide to organize a training in this topic which was conducted by two of the most experienced experts in Turkey.
Our leads cardiac Prof. Dr. Barış Ökçün, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yıldız and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kudret Keskin, during the training they shared their expertise on transcatheter aortic valve implantation and its risks, as well as the benefits this type of treatment provides over traditional open-heart surgery.
While the number of patients receiving this therapy is expected to grow significantly over the next few years, doctors seek to learn more about this procedure and its long-term effectiveness.
An interactive session also followed the presentation and included questions and answers, so that the audience could get a better understanding of how this procedure could change the future of interventional cardiology, doctors also performed life cases with the participants and discussed with them the real clinical applications of this procedure in a one-to-one setting.
During the training, participants had the opportunity to network with other participants and find out more about their experience with TAVI.
There was also great interest in the opportunity to network with other TAVI experts from around the world and learn about their experiences with TAVI.
